AT&T announced a new partnership with Google to hand out 6-month Stadia trials to its new and current Wireless and Fiber customers. In addition, the carrier is offering Stadia Premiere Bundles (Chromecast Ultra + Stadia controller) for $19.99, a discount of $80.
AT&T was quick to say that this offer is for new and existing customers, however, they forgot to tell that this promotion appears to only be for those customers on unlimited data plans and who are adding or upgrading to a 5G phone.
Though small console gaming is experiencing a decrease in popularity, AT&T thinks that we the increasingly growing popularity of cloud gaming, and the introduction of high-speed 5G and fiber networks, the premium Stadia Pro subscription will be a great way for people to experience the best casual gaming titles over ATT network using their own smartphones and smart TVs.
