The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 are 's next-generation , and the first rumored information about them has now leaked out of Korea.

According to this unconfirmed report, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will feature improved under-display camera technology, and both cams (on the inside and outside screens) will be of this type.

The back cameras should also be upgraded, but we don't know exactly what that entails. The source expects that this implies they'll be on par with the greatest of today's high-end smartphones, but we'll have to wait and see. The Fold4 is expected to include a redesigned hinge that will make it lighter than its predecessor, as well as increased water and dust resistance.

In comparison to the Fold3, the battery capacity won't vary significantly, and the release date should be eerily identical to that of the previous iteration.

Moving on to the Flip4, there are prototypes in the works with both an under-the-display selfie camera and a standard hole punch – it appears like Samsung hasn't made up its mind yet. According to reports, the business is also exploring improving the hinge in the same way as the Fold4 did. The Flip4 will have the same battery capacity and external display size as the Flip3, as well as increased water and dust protection. In the second part of 2022, the Flip4 should be released with the Fold4.

It goes without saying that you should take everything you read here with a grain of salt, as this is the first rumor on the subject, and the development of these two devices is still in its early stages, so even if everything you read above is correct right now, things could change dramatically between now and the phones' release date.

Samsung will enhance foldable phone manufacturing next year, according to a leak, and the Z Flip4 will stay.

According to The Elec, which received a document indicating production objectives, Samsung plans to dramatically increase the number of foldable phones manufactured next year in anticipation of bigger sales. The differences between the Galaxy S, Z, and A series are fascinating, especially when it comes to the models within each series.

The Z Flip4 is expected to sell 6.9 million units, while the Z Fold4 is expected to sell 2.9 million. In comparison, the Z Flip3 was expected to sell 4 million units in 2021, while the Z Fold3 was expected to sell 3 million. Regardless, it's exciting to get a first look at what Samsung's foldable will look like in 2022.

Samsung will enhance foldable phone manufacturing next year, according to a leak, and the Z Flip4 will stay.

According to online reports, we received a document indicating production objectives, Samsung plans to dramatically increase the number of foldable phones manufactured next year in anticipation of bigger sales. The differences between the Galaxy S, Z, and A series are fascinating, especially when it comes to the models within each series.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is expected to sell 6.9 million units, while the Z Fold4 is expected to sell 2.9 million. In comparison, the Z Flip3 was expected to sell 4 million units in 2021, while the Z Fold3 was expected to sell 3 million. This means that although the bigger 's aim will stay virtually the same, the smaller, more inexpensive Flip will be the sole source of increased production (and sales).

Even if the fraction of foldable in Samsung's flagship lineup grows, the S-series will continue to dominate this sector. Samsung plans to produce 14 million Galaxy S22 phones, 8 million Galaxy S22+ phones, and 11 million Galaxy S22 Ultras (which will also serve as that year's Note phone with tighter S Pen integration).

The S21 series was expected to sell 10 million S21 units, 8 million S21+ units, and 8 million S21 Ultra units. Although the series may have fallen short of those expectations, Samsung appears to be anticipating significant increases in demand for the vanilla S22 and the S22 Ultra (up 4 and 3 million, respectively), while the Plus model will remain unchanged.

Interestingly, depending on when full production would begin, The Elec forecasts that the S22 series will be presented very soon – on January 5 at CES. In the second part of the year, Samsung will release the Galaxy S22 FE, with 5.7 million handsets expected to be made. In all, foldable will make up 20% of Samsung's flagships next year. The bulk of devices, especially in the A-series, will remain entry-level and mid-range. With 28 million units scheduled to be produced next year, the Galaxy A53 is likely to be the most popular Samsung, followed by the Galaxy A13 with 27 million and the Galaxy A33 with 23 million.

These three models will account for approximately a quarter of Samsung's projected output of 334 million units.

According to reports, Samsung has ordered roughly 60% more display panels for the Galaxy Z Flip4.

Another leaked Rumors from Samsung a prominent executive from a display supply chain consultancy shared on that Samsung expects to get a substantially bigger first order of display panels for the Galaxy Z Flip3's replacement. Samsung Display is scheduled to start shipping panels for the next month, similar to when the Z Flip 3 was released last year. Panel shipments, on the other hand, are likely to be significantly greater. The Z Flip 4 is expected to sell 8.7 million panels in 2022, compared to 5.1 million or the Z Flip 3 in 2021.

Samsung Display aims to start exporting these display panels as early as April, with a shipment volume roughly 60 percent larger (8.7 million) than Samsung Display's debut shipment of screens for the Galaxy Z Flip3 in 2021, according to Young (5.1 million).

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 are two new models from Samsung.

Samsung might expect to produce even more foldable devices this year, confirming claims from November that the company planned to increase manufacturing of both the Z Flip4 and Z Fold4. Samsung, on the other hand, would prioritize the manufacture of the Z Flip4 above the Fold, owing to its scalability and more affordable price point. The Z Flip3 5G has a starting price of $999, which is much less than the $1,380 of the previous Z Flip3.

Each successive generation of Samsung's Z foldable has grown in popularity with each passing year, as the range has been more refined with each new iteration. Remember that the and Z Fold 2 have articulating hinges, and the Z Flip 3 5G and Z Fold 3 are also completely waterproof.
