Huawei’s consumer business CEO, Yu Chengdong, said that Huawei’s P series flagships are always updated every spring, but due to the U.S. ban, the company was not able to launch the P50 series. A few days ago, multiple sets of the latest renderings of the Huawei P50 Pro appeared online.

The renders are pretty consistent with the previous renders leaked of the Huawei P50 Pro. This new image shows that this device comes with a center punch-hole and a curved screen design. On the rear side, we see a dual-ring module, and the lens arrangement adopts the “3+1” scheme. Meaning that it has three cameras on the top and 1 camera on the bottom.

The renders also show that the device will arrive in four color schemes, blue, white, gold, and blue-green color options.

The Huawei P50 will arrive with Sony’s IMX800 sensor and has an ultra-large base close to 1 inch. This is the largest sensor in Sony’s history and brings more powerful imaging effects.

There were rumors that the Huawei P50 Standard Edition will use Visionox screens and that the Huawei P50 Pro will use both BOE and Visionox screens. As for the high-end Huawei P50 Pro+, it will use the latest generation of BOE’s screen panels. This display will use a self-developed hexagonal crystal arrangement, which is similar to the LG diamond arrangement, the Huawei P50 series will come with the HarmonyOS 2 out-of-the-box.

All three models in the Huawei P50 series will have a center punch-hole design for the first time in their history. It will be powered by a  Kirin 9000E/9000 processor and the entire lineup will use Sony’s exclusive custom IMX800 sensor and also have a liquid lens. The battery will be a 4200 mAh or 4300 mAh battery. These devices will support 66W wired fast charging and 55W wireless fast charging.
