If you’re looking for a strong smartphone, AnTuTu has officially revealed its February 2022 list of the most powerful smartphones. AnTuTu is one of the most popular Android benchmarking applications. It performs a variety of tests on your device and provides an overall score, with the results frequently appearing in internet reviews.

The devices on this list, to be honest, do not surprise us. Following the debut of Qualcomm’s new flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, prominent manufacturers have released their own new high-end flagships. Overheating is a problem with Qualcomm’s high-end flagship CPUs. As a result, if the chipmaker does not have a robust heat dissipation system, the chip’s performance would most likely suffer. This is why the heat dissipation system is prioritized in most Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 devices.

Because the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is used, these phones will have a huge heat dissipation area and top-notch quick charging. These characteristics make these gadgets difficult to overlook.

DOMINANCE OF SNAPDRAGON 8 GEN 1 SMARTPHONES

The Android mobile phone performance list for February was announced today by AnTuTu. Almost all of the devices on the list are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. In fact, just one smartphone, which is ranked tenth, does not employ the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

  1.  NUBIA RED MAGIC 7

The Nubia Red Magic 7 gaming phone takes the first position in this Android flagship performance ranking. The average running score for this gadget is 1,046,401. According to AnTuTu, both CPU and GPU scores outperform traditional models in terms of sub-scores. The heat dissipation mechanism on the smartphone is the cause behind this.

The Red Magic 7 is said to be fitted with an ICE 8.0 magic cooling system to fully exploit the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1’s tremendous performance. A high-speed centrifugal fan with a wind speed of 20,000 rpm is included in this gadget. The air volume is greater and the total heat dissipation is improved with the new canyon air duct dual air-intake design.

The Red Magic 7 also employs nine layers of heat dissipation materials, including ultra-soft and high thermal conductivity rare earth, aerospace-grade composite phase-change heat dissipation materials, superconducting copper foil, and a super-large VC liquid-cooled heat dissipation plate. This allows the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 to retain a high-performance output while managing power consumption.

  1. IQOO 9

Another Chinese smartphone, the iQOO 9, is in second place with 1,017,735 points. This is one of the industry’s most powerful smartphones. This gaming smartphone comes with a sophisticated heat dissipation system in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The fuselage of the iQOO 9 is covered by an extremely large heat dissipation plate of 3923 square millimeters. Two split-flow power pumps are also included to ensure chip heat dissipation. The cooling is also accelerated by the layered waterfall VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system.

A 6.78-inch Samsung 120Hz E5 flexible straight screen is also included with this smartphone. The bezels are ultra-thin (1.7mm), with a peak brightness of up to 1500 nits in the immediate area. As a result, the iQOO 9 combines a powerful processor with a stunning display to deliver a fantastic gaming experience.

  1. iQOO 9 PRO

The iQOO 9 Pro is in third place with 1,017,447 points. Because it has a smaller battery and a superior heat dissipation mechanism, the iQOO 9 is ranked higher than the Pro version. The heat dissipation system on the Pro version is the same as on the normal model. The Pro variant, on the other hand, has a 6.78-inch 2K 120Hz high refresh rate display. This is the Samsung E5 display, which is LTPO 2.0 compatible.

The new ultrasonic 3D wide-area fingerprint is also supported by this display. This gadget has a 4700 mAh battery that enables 120W wired fast charge, 50W wireless fast charge, and 10W wireless reverse to keep the lights on. In addition, this gadget includes a fresh new GaN 120W charging head.

  1.  RealMe GT2 PRO

In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Realme GT2 Pro comes with the largest heat dissipation area in the industry. Its heat dissipation plate covers a staggering 36761 mm2 for up to 3 degrees Celsius of cooling. This helps the smartphone to maximize the chip’s performance. This device also comes with a 2K AMOLED flat display that supports Super Reality Display. It uses a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED with over 4.5 million pixels. Realme prides this device as one of the powerful smartphones in the market.

This gadget is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery that enables 65W SuperDart charging. The Realme GT2 series is the “world’s first smartphone to employ a biopolymer for its whole back panel, lowering carbon emissions from its manufacture by 35.5 percent,” according to the company.

  1. OnePlus 10 PRO

The Samsung top-level 2K+ ultra-clear resolution display on this smartphone is 6.7 inches. It has a screen refresh rate of 120Hz LTPO adaptable. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s top-of-the-line heat dissipation technology boosts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1’s performance. A VC soaking plate, copper-graphite sheet, graphite sheet, heat-dissipating silica gel, and a metal frame are included in this device. These are the five heat-dissipating materials that will keep your smartphone cool under any circumstance.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has a 5000 mAh ultra-large battery that enables SUPERVOOC 80W wired super flash charging, which can charge the phone to 100% in 32 minutes. AIRVOOC 50W wireless super flash charging is also supported by the device.

  1. Xiaomi 12 PRO

Xiaomi’s latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, is ranked sixth. This smartphone is ranked sixth because its heat dissipation mechanism is insufficient to keep the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from overheating. Despite the heat, the Xiaomi 12 Pro still delivers excellent performance. The smartphone does not get hot enough to burn your fingertips, but it does heat up and is throttled. Nonetheless, this smartphone is still one of the most powerful on the market.

  1. Redmi K50 E-Sports version

The graphene heat dissipation sheet material heat dissipation system is included in the Redmi K50 e-sports edition. A 3D high-power graphite, large-area double VC, and heat dissipation copper sheet + boron nitride are all used. This smartphone has five important new heat-dissipating materials. It features a CPU heat source and a charging heat source that are separated. A big 4860 square millimeter double VC cooling material is used in this device.

The main VC is 4015 square millimeters in size, and it covers the upper part of the CPU as well as the battery. The heat dissipation efficiency of the hydrophilic capillary mesh is increased by 10% thanks to a specific procedure. The secondary VC is 845 square millimeters in size, with a 3D step difference structure that covers two charging IC chips. This cooling material’s design fits snugly without leaving any gaps. In addition, there is a big area of graphene on the front that connects the two VCs. The 3D high-power graphite on the back enhances heat conductivity by 15%.

The Motorola Edge X30, Xiaomi 12, and Black Shark 4S Pro are ranked eighth, ninth, and tenth, respectively. These gadgets get 978,341, 963,083, and 881,140 points, respectively. Only the Black Shark 4S Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 888+ CPU.
