This week new renders of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G have been leaked online. As expected, they reveal some key details and features about the incoming device, which is set to arrive on the store shelves pretty soon.

The new Nord 2 5G was first spotted on the NBTC certification website, confirming its model number DN2103 and the Nord 2 moniker. Unfortunately, the listing did not show much more details about the phone’s specifications but on July 18, a few Twitter accounts shared 4K official renders of the Nord 2 5G, along with some key specs.

The renders shared revealed information like the color options. The device will be available in Green Woods and Gray Sierra and Blue Haze color options. The render showed that the Nord 2 5G will sport a 6.43-inches Fluid AMOLED with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. Furthermore, the phone’s display will offer a decent aspect ratio of 20:9. 

In the tweets, it was reported that the device will offer a refresh rate of 90Hz, and 410 PPI (pixels per inch). Inside, it will pack a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The device will ship with 12GB of RAM and offer 256GB of expandable storage capacity.

The Nord 2 will run Android 11 OS with OxygenOS on top. It will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging to draw its energy. On the camera side, the Nord 2 5G will probably have three cameras at the back. The rear-mounted camera setup could feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8MP secondary camera, and a 2MP sensor.

On the rear side, cameras will arrive with 4K video (at 30 fps) recording capabilities, along with nightscape ultra, and dual-video support. On the front, it will probably feature a 32MP selfie camera for self-portraits and video calling. Regarding connectivity, the Nord 2 will offer a USB Type-C port, GPS, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and 5G.

The OnePlus Nord 2 base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage tag price will be around USD 450 the larger model that ships with 12GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage could carry a price tag of USD 470 in the country.
