Redmi K40 Series All With Snapdragon 8 Series Chips

On February 25th Redmi will release the new Redmi K40 series. All devices will use the Snapdragon 888 processor and it will have a starting price of USD464 for the high-end version and it will be released with another three models.  The top version will use a 108MP main camera and will be the first smartphone holding one.

All Redmi K40 series will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chips. The high-end version will probably use the powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC with a price tag of USD 464 and the others with the Snapdragon 870 processor, the price of this version should be less than USD$ 300.

The Redmi K40 series will come equipped with a Samsung E4 material OLED display and will support a 120Hz refresh rate. 

The Redmi K40 will come with an entirely different design from the previous generations. It will hold a center punch-hole and a straight display, it will have the smallest punch-hole in the industry at only 2.8mm.

On the rear, it will continue to use the quad-rear camera matrix similar to the one in  Redmi K30S arranged in a diamond shape, and with the flash is on the right side of the camera module.

There is no information on the fast charging capacity for now. According to reports, the Redmi K40 screen will be an OLED display made of Samsung E4 luminescent materials, which supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz. This phone will also use LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory.
