In the last week, two Redmi devices have been approved by the 3C authority of China. One of the models will be the Redmi K50, while the second will be the Redmi K50 e-sports edition, which appears to be a Gaming Edition device.
Redmi recently confirmed that the K50 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and with a 4,700mAh battery, with 120W fast charging. These specs will be available also on the Redmi K50 e-sports edition.
The device will be equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a high refresh rate display with dual VC liquid cooling, an x-axis linear motor, and JBL stereo speakers. The K50 and its e-sports edition OS will be the MIU 13 based Android 12.
Past leaked reports claimed that the Redmi K50 Gaming will come with specs like a 120Hz or a 144Hz refresh rate OLED panel, a 64-megapixel (Sony IMX686) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 8-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) quad-camera unit.
We know there will be a higher version of this model featuring a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 lens. Probably this device may release with the POCO F4 GT name in markets worldwide. The Redmi K50 series will be debuting in February in China.
