Samsung will be starting the production of the new Galaxy S22 series flagships in November this year. The series will include the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. According to the latest report, the screen size of the Galaxy S22 will be 6.06 inches being a little smaller than the Galaxy S21 screen which makes it more suitable for one-handed operation.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a flagship phone with four sides of equal width with an ultra-narrow frame. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 are both straight screens smartphones. However, the top version, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra may have a curved screen.

The Galaxy S22 will have two versions – Snapdragon and Exynos. The Snapdragon version will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 while the Exynos version will use Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC. The latter integrates AMD GPU with powerful performance. These devices are expected to be released beginning of 2022 and will be one of the first Snapdragon 898 flagship phones.

Rumors speculate that the Exynos 2200 will use a new generation three-cluster architecture. The design will have a 2.59Ghz Cortex-X2 super core, three 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 large cores, and four 1.73GHz Cortex-A55 small cores. However, the mass production version may see a super-large core with a higher frequency.

This will significantly increase the graphics performance of devices with this chip. And the whole performance of the Exynos 2200 relative to the previous devices.
