Sling TV is releasing an updated and improved app experience this weekend, however, in the meantime, you’d be able to enjoy it only if you own an Amazon Fire TV. Sling mentioned the updated app will arrive on other platforms later this year.
For the time being, users on Fire TV devices will be able to find more personalization options, like customizing the Channel Guide. In addition, there is a new navigation experience, making it easier to find anything we are looking for.
The new app has an impressive “beautiful design.” Sling says you’ll see, “ribbons in different colors and sizes with expanded show visuals in the Guide to help users discover content faster.”
