At the 2021 International Display Technology Conference in Beijing, BOE officially announced the full mass production of its newest generation of glass-based Mini LEDs. Furthermore, the company also introduced the world’s first AMOLED flexible sliding screen.
According to BOE, this product has an outer curvature radius of only 4mm and a dynamic scrolling frequency of 200.000 times. By sliding in and out, the product can be converted from a mobile phone to a tablet. Since it is a sliding display, the screen has absolutely no ridge.
BOE also demonstrated other products and devices at the event: a new mini-vehicle head-up display which is more than 3/4 smaller than the conventional head-up display system. This display module uses high-brightness Micro OLED technology with micro-projection optical technology. BOE claims that this device has a good display effect in a strong light environment.
BOE recently released its first-quarter report of 2021. The company hit an operating income of USD 7.8 Billion a year-on-year increase of 107.87%. The company’s net profit also rose to USD 812 Million a year-on-year increase of 814.46%.
The continuous demand for semiconductor displays in the external market plays a major role in BOE’s rise. In addition, BOE Mini LED, flexible, 8K, and other innovative technologies have also continued to make new breakthroughs.
BOE’s market share of flexible screens ranks first in the Chinese market and second in the world. The company has also innovatively launched folding screens, sliding screens, and flexible screens. It is the world’s leading flexible display manufacturer and has all techs including under-screen camera technology.
This spring as a partner of China Central Radio and Television’s 8K UHD technology, Festival Gala of 2021 people will experience the brand-new BOE’s 8K UHD technology.
