Sharp is a Japanese smartphone manufacturer but is not as popular worldwide. However, Sharp devices are known for providing Qualcomm 800-series chipset and splendid display. Next month, Sharp is preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone named Sharp Aquos R6. It will be the successor to the previously launched Aquos R5G and a few device renders have been leaked showing a new design.

From the renders, we see that the Aquos R6 will be collaborating with Leica (as Huawei devices do) and that’s good news for us the users.

The  Aquos R6 looks a little unusual. It has a strong design, with a huge camera module in the center. You can see two camera sensors and an LED flash. One of the sensors is humongous. On the front, we can find a curved display and a punch-hole notch for the selfie camera.

The Aquos R5G was released in February 2020 also had an unusual design it came with a long vertical camera module and a teardrop notch and featured a capacitive fingerprint scanner making it look old school. Hopefully, we will not see these mistakes on the new R6 model.

The Aquos R6 will feature a 6.5-inch QHD+ IPS display with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone comes with a quad camera setup with a 12MP primary shooter, 12 MP telephoto lens with OIS, a 48MP ultrawide snapper with 8K recording support, and a ToF sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie cam. Powering up the device is Snapdragon 865 with 3,700 mAh battery.
