Google’s Digital Wellbeing is no longer just another service on your phone that tries to limit your digital addiction, now It might save your life.

Google’s Digital Wellbeing platform  added a new feature called “Heads Up.” This feature will remind you as you are heading out of the house and start walking to stop staring at your phone and pay attention to your surroundings.

To use this feature (currently available only on Google Pixel) you need to go to Digital Wellbeing settings on your phone and click into the “Reduce interruptions” section. Tapping on it will walk through a quick tutorial that lets you decide if you want “Heads Up” to use your location to better remind you to pay attention as you head out of the house. And if you don’t…. good luck.
