The top 9 android 12 smartphones with the best performance level

In Android 12, Google introduced the “performance level” concept. Developers can query the device’s hardware characteristics to categorize it into different performance categories. Developers can opt to disable specific features or limit animations on devices with lower performance levels. This will allow the gadget to function more efficiently and smoothly.

The Jetpack Core Performance library was just released as an alpha version by Google. This enables apps to “get device performance ratings for Android 11 (API level 30) and above devices.” The greatest performance level currently available is Level 12, and there are various prerequisites for attaining that level. Furthermore, according to Google, just a few devices are on Level 12.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PERFORMANCE LEVEL 12 ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • RAM must be at least 6GB.
  • A minimum resolution of 400dpi and a screen resolution of 1080p are required.
  • At least 120MB/s sequential writes, 250MB/s sequential reads, 10MB/s random writes, and 40MB/s random reads are required.
  • It must feature (at the very least) a 12MP back camera capable of shooting in 4K at 30 frames per second.
  • It must include (at the very least) a 4MP front-facing camera capable of shooting at 1080p 30 frames per second.

Google stated that flagship devices from Oppo, OnePlus, Realme, Vivo, and Xiaomi match the Media Performance Class 12 standards and would be the first to be optimized. The gadgets classified as Level 12 (or Class 12) are:

OnePlus 10 Pro

OPPO Find X3 Pro

Realme GT 2 Pro

Vivo X60 Pro+

Vivo X70 Pro+

Xiaomi 12

Xiaomi 12 Pro

Google Pixel 6

Google Pixel 6 Pro

PERFORMANCE LEVEL 11

Here are the criteria for Level 11 (or Class 11):

  • RAM must be at least 6GB.
  • A screen with a resolution of 1080p and a resolution of no less than 400dpi is required.
  • A minimum sequential write speed of 100MB/s, a sequential read speed of 200MB/s, a random write speed of 10MB/s, and a random read speed of 25MB/s
  • It must feature (at the very least) a 12MP back camera capable of shooting in 4K at 30 frames per second.
  • It must include (at the very least) a 4MP front-facing camera capable of shooting at 1080p 30 frames per second.

As a recently introduced flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series was not included on the list. The Galaxy S22+ does not support performance levels, according to screenshots shared by 9To5Google. This might be because Samsung has been slow to conform to Google’s Android standards. It has never, for example, enabled seamless updates.
