According to a recent report, Xiaomi solved multiple technical difficulties and filled gaps in the industry.

The new device will have five new technologies to cover multiple aspects of smartphones in the field of photography, battery life, and charging.

The new 5 technological breakthrough

In terms of display, the new Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro will come with a second-generation low-power 2K screen. This display reduces the power consumption but keeping a high definition, it will be the first in the Android OS line to realize intelligent dynamic refresh rate technology. Depending on the scenarios, it automatically adjusts the refresh rate to further reduce power consumption. The screen size will be 6.7 inches.

The device will use a second-generation LTPO screen and will be the world’s first second-generation LTPO direct-screen flagship.

On photography, Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro will debut the Sony IMX707 sensor and the new Xiaomi imaging brain technology architecture. It will have a self-developed focus tracking technology. 

The Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro will stand out on sound quality too. The device will arrive with dual-core four-unit speakers from Harman/Kardon.

the most important breakthrough will be in the field of charging. The Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro will be ahead higher in comparison to all of its models. In terms of charging, Xiaomi has filled the current industry gap powered by the self-developed Surge P1 chip.

The Surge P1 has Xiaomi’s highest charging efficiency 4:1 charging chip. It can achieve an ultra-high-power density of 0.83W/mm², and LDMOS has also reached the industry’s leading ultra-low 1.18mΩmm² RSP. The battery capacity of this model will be 4600mAh. It’s a bit larger than that of the Mi 12 which comes with a 4500mAh battery.

The MIUI 13 system is pre-installed on the Mi 12 series. The manufacturer said that it is more fluent and the application speed is up to 52%. It will be released to the markets tomorrow on December 28th.
